Programme Officer – Côte d’Ivoire (sample)

TogetherCocoa is looking for a Programme Officer to support the design and delivery of pilot activities with cocoa-farming families, cooperatives and local partners in Côte d’Ivoire.

You will work closely with the country management team and with community, government and NGO partners to turn the Foundation’s test-and-learn approach into concrete action in the field.

• Coordinate the day-to-day implementation of pilot activities in the field.
• Work with cooperatives, communities and implementation partners to plan and follow up activities.
• Collect and analyse data to document what works, and what does not.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for the management team.
• Contribute to the dialogue with local authorities and other stakeholders.

• A degree in agriculture, development, economics or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in rural development programmes, ideally in West Africa.
• Fluent French and good working English.
• Willingness to travel regularly to cocoa-growing regions.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
